DESCRIPTION:Students\, faculty and staff are invited to participate in the seventh annual Public Republic event on Friday\, October 3\, 2025\, from 8am to 6pm on the lawn between College Ave. and the Minerva Statue. \n\n\n\nPublic Republic is an annual\, all-day\, public reading of all 10 books of Plato’s Republic.As Republic is written in a dramatic\, dialogical format\, and represents a day-long discussion amongst (mostly) friends\, we will be bringing this dialogue to life in our performance.We welcome anyone who would like to drop by\, even for just a short while\, to join us.We enthusiastically welcome volunteer readers! \n\n\n\nAnyone looking for more information\, including how to sign up to volunteer as a reader\, can learn more on the info page. The more volunteers\, the lighter the load\, and the more robust our intellectual community.
